About Me

Hi, I’m Ashley Gyori, M.S., CCC-SLP, a pediatric speech-language pathologist and the founder of The Celebration House.

I earned my Master of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I focused my training on working with children, particularly in the areas of pediatric feeding and medically complex care.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working closely with children and their families in their everyday environments. That experience shaped the way I practice today. I believe therapy is most meaningful when caregivers feel supported, confident, and included in the process. Parents and caregivers know their children best, and I see my role as not only supporting the child, but also giving families the knowledge and tools they need to help their child succeed beyond our therapy sessions.

I have a special passion for infant and pediatric feeding, including breast and bottle feeding, transitioning to solids, oral-motor development, picky eating, ARFID, and G-tube weaning. Some of the most meaningful moments of my career have been helping children move past a diagnosis of “failure to thrive” and move onto eating for fun!

I also love helping children discover the power of communication. I support children who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and their families, with the belief that every child deserves a way to share their wants, needs, thoughts, ideas, and personality with the world around them.

Above all, I want families to feel like therapy is a place where progress is noticed and celebrated—even when it happens one small step at a time. That belief is at the heart of The Celebration House: where success is found every day.

Outside of work, I live in Cary with my husband and our three children. As both a speech-language pathologist and a mom, I understand how deeply parents want to help their children thrive, and it is an honor to be invited into that journey with the families I serve.
